I am pleased to announce that at the Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas Board meeting last week ChildCareGroup was awarded the Star Contractor Award for Performance Management.
CCG took over Southeast Texas’ contract management in 2010, and to receive this award in such a short timeframe is a great accomplishment. It would not have been achievable without the outstanding Southeast Texas staff members who live in the region and are committed to making a difference their community.

Additionally, one of our early childhood education providers in Southeast Texas received an award! Creative Learning Center was awarded a Star Award for the outstanding commitment to early learning and education of young children. This provider is one our best and is a Texas Rising Star provider. They not only ensure that children are ready for school, they also foster a sense of community and service with the children they serve by regularly sending cards and artwork to local nursing homes and the VA Hospital, and participates each year in the St. Jude’s Trike –A-Thon. Congratulations to the Creative Learning Center!
